The European Commission and ESA’s Planetary Defence Office together are organising the “EU-ESA Workshop for the Increase of Emergency Response Agencies Awareness on the NEO Threat”.
The workshop is taking place at ESA’s European Space Operations Centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt (Germany) on 21-22 November 2023. Attendance in person is foreseen. The purpose of the meeting is to advance in the level of awareness on Planetary Defence (PD) and preparedness for the NEO threat among the national emergency response centres and civil protection agencies or equivalent institutions.
