As part of the "Flood North Alb" Project, a series of seminars were held on September 9-10, 2024, at the National Operational Center of the National Civil Protection Agency. These seminars focused on two critical themes: "Logistical Support" and "Protection of Cultural Heritage." The event brought together international project partners and key Albanian institutions involved in the upcoming final exercise, fostering collaboration and enhancing shared capacities in emergency response and disaster management.

The seminars provided a platform for in-depth discussions on improving logistical support systems, ensuring timely and efficient responses to emergencies such as floods. Additionally, significant emphasis was placed on the protection of Albania's cultural heritage during natural disasters, recognizing that safeguarding historical and cultural assets is crucial in disaster recovery and long-term resilience. By addressing both operational and cultural preservation aspects, the event highlighted the need for a holistic approach to disaster preparedness, promoting best practices and reinforcing the importance of cross-border and local cooperation. These efforts aim to create a more robust system capable of responding to emergencies while preserving Albania's rich cultural legacy.
