Croce Rossa Italiana (CRI)

The Croce Rossa Italiana (CRI) is an Italian non-profit humanitarian organisation operating in Italy and abroad. It relies on contributions from volunteers, donors and partners, and has more than one million volunteers in Italy and abroad.

Its main objective is to prevent and alleviate human suffering, without discrimination of any kind.

Social assistance and disaster response

CRI is one of the main disaster response organisations in Italy. In the event of earthquakes, floods, fires or other disasters, CRI mobilises its volunteers and resources to help those affected.

It also provides social, economic and psychological support services to vulnerable populations, such as the elderly, people with disabilities and those living in poverty.

Thanks to its work on the ground, its experience and people, the COVALEX group will be able to derive immense value from CRI's assistance.

It will be responsible for both the definition of DRM standards in the thematic area of the community and the conduct of TTX exercises.
