On 19 February 2026, DG ECHO will organise an online information day on the upcoming Knowledge for Action in Prevention and Preparedness (KAPP) call.

Description

The aim of the information day is to familiarise potential applicants with the objectives of the KAPP call for proposals. 

The session provides an overview of the programme as well as the main administrative, legal and financial aspects to be considered by possible applicants. The content is aimed at applicants with guidance on the preparation of their proposals. The agenda will be made available closer to the event.

The KAPP call for proposals is open to EU Member States and UCPM Participating States, as well as to Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance states and European Neighbourhood Policy states.

The information day is intended for representatives of stakeholders in the field of civil protection and disaster risk management (national administrations, regional and local authorities, private sector, non-governmental organisations, academia and research institutes, international organisations, etc.).
