Resources for funded projects
This page provides resources for the ongoing and recently ended prevention and preparedness projects funded by DG ECHO.
Implementation and beyond the project end date
- Project visibility: The official DG ECHO Visual guidelines, providing general guidance on the implementation of contractual visibility and communication: Communication and Visibility Manual for European Union-funded Civil Protection Actions.
- Project reporting templates: The main reference for all official documents is the EU Funding & Tenders Portal; see under > Templates & forms > Project reporting templates.
- Final project deliverables: Guide to providing the annexes required with the final reports: high quality visuals, a snapshot of the project’s results, and a layman report: Guide to providing high quality visuals and the other required annexes to the final report.
- Audit: To learn more about DG ECHO's rules for checks, audits, or evaluations that projects may undergo during their implementation and up to five years after their completion: Audits of civil protection grant beneficiaries.
Using the Knowledge Network platform
The Knowledge Network platform's behind-the-scenes tools and guidance such as the user manual describing how to add and manage content for users with editing rights.
Tools and guidance for projects:
- EU Login account creation: To become a user on the Knowledge Network platform, you will need to have an active EU Login ID (the same ID is used on other EU managed platforms). If you do not yet have an EU Login ID, please follow these instructions to create one: How do I create my EU Login account?
- Knowledge Network platform ‘User guide’:
A complete guide to the editing tools available for all authenticated users that have editing privileges for the KN Platform: general user guide;
A simplified guide for coordinators of projects, exercises and training courses, and moderators of discussion groups: Projects user guide.
- How to upload images & logos on the platform: Images best practices
- How to manage Drupal-based website: The Knowledge Network platform is a Drupal-based website. You can consult the following guidance if you wish to better understand how content is organised and managed: Drupal User Guide (HTML version); The Europa Web Publishing Platform (EWPP) Content Management System user guide.
- Knowledge Network visual style: Do you want to adopt/use the Knowledge Network visual style? Consult the Visual Style Guide (not mandatory).
