Description

Join this two-day event to benefit from a rich program featuring high-level panels, discussions, and participatory workshops on many different areas of importance to the European civil protection community.

The event will be organised as an in-person event, also accessible online (web-streamed) over two days. 

The core overarching theme of 2024 edition is “Shaping a disaster-resilient union: charting a path for the future of European protection”. The forum will be a key opportunity to: 

  • Reflect on the Union’s achievements in civil protection since the 2019 legislative revision of the European Union Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM),
  • Provide a space for knowledge exchange and innovation among UCPM stakeholders around key policy and operational questions, to inspire future developments of the UCPM.
