Task10-Communication and Dissemination Actions

Task10 ensures the promotion of the project’s activities/results and maximises the impact to the target groups. Under this task the team developed a communication and dissemination plan to be used as a blueprint for the entire project’s life span. The plan includes important steps to be taken for effective and efficient implementation of the activities.

PROMPT – communication is directed as a priority to the personnel and volunteers in charge of Civil protection actions. In a bottom-up communication actions and methodology, information on the project is conveyed to the volunteer association – through a set of local actions. Social media will be mainly used to report on the communication of the actions to be realised.

Communication targets also Local Public Authorities and Regional ones. To reach these various stakeholders we will create ad hoc local workshops in all the project countries to get support from all the involved stakeholders.

PROMPT – communication and dissemination are composed of three main pillars:

- Internal communication. Creation of a “secured area” web platform giving access to all project documents and reminders on the deadlines, reporting templates, guidelines, agendas, minutes meeting etc.

- External communication. Creation of local events, two international events and social Media information.

- External dissemination. Creation of a project logo and slogan - Raising awareness of the project. Creation of social media accounts as the main tools for project partners and stakeholder protagonists.

The project’s dissemination and output will include video; leaflet; printed promotional material; display panels; banners; public presentations; workshops. Social media will be the project's interactive platform and a practical sharing tool of ongoing research activities and results among partners and stakeholders. It will also have interactive multimedia and educational/webinar areas.

In conclusion, task-10 guarantees the project’s visibility, communication and dissemination actions. Activities under this task are designed to promote the project’s activities/results and maximise the impact to the target groups. A plan was developed to guide the entire implementation of the activities. Mainly the activities involved three pillars; internal communication (creation secured web platform for access of internal resources), external communication (creation of promotional materials, social media platforms and events), and external dissemination (creation of project logo and slogan).
