Research report

This applied research report investigates the effectiveness of various disinfectants for use in biological hazard situations. The study focuses on improving current disinfection procedures used in Germany, particularly for personal protective equipment (PPE) and operational materials exposed to biological agents.

Two practical projects, GranPSA and GranuTa, examined different disinfectant granulates under realistic conditions to assess their usability, safety, and material compatibility. The findings aim to support the development of safer and more efficient disinfection methods for emergency response units operating in biological risk environments.
