August 4th, 2023 marks the third anniversary of the Beirut blast, a devastating incident that significantly impacted numerous individuals in Lebanon. As one of the largest non-nuclear explosions in history, this tragic event continues to have a profound effect, underscoring the importance of ongoing support for the victims and their families.

Moreover, the EU offered substantial humanitarian aid, rapidly mobilising 32.2 million euro to provide immediate relief and essential assistance. 

As Lebanon marks the solemn day of the third anniversary of the Beirut blast, it serves as a poignant reminder of the lives lost and the unwavering strength displayed by the Lebanese people. The response from the global community, including the aid provided by the EU, highlights the crucial role of international cooperation and compassion in times of distress. Nevertheless, despite the EU's support, Lebanon faces arduous obstacles in its path to recovery and rebuilding.
