The Workshop on Host Nation Support was held today in Podgorica, organized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (Directorate for Civil Protection) of Montenegro as part of the "FloodNorth" project.
The event brought together representatives from various countries and organizations to discuss mechanisms and strategies for effective Host Nation Support (HNS) during disaster response operations. The workshop focused on improving coordination, resource sharing, and logistical support between nations to ensure timely and efficient assistance during emergencies.
This initiative aligns with the objectives of the FloodNorth project, which aims to strengthen regional cooperation and enhance disaster preparedness and response capacities, particularly in managing flood-related crises.
