Description

Space Research Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences – a scientific institute of the III Faculty of the Polish Academy of Sciences with its registered office at Bartycka 18 A street in Warsaw. Established by the decision of the Presidium of the Polish Academy of Sciences on September 29, 1976, and began its activity on April 1, 1977. In 2021, it employed 227 employees, including 14 professors and 14 associate professors of  various specialties, very often technical. Since 1991 he has been cooperating with the European Space Agency. Since the entry of Polish into ESA structures in 2012, CBK PAN has been the main institution coordinating the activities of Polish companies from the space industry sector within ESA projects.
