Description

The Red Cross is one of finland's largest NGOs. We take care of the most vulnerable. We help in the midst of crises and accidents, and we support people of all ages when life is dented.

We encourage and educate people to take care of each other and take care of their health. In all our work, we defend humanity and encourage the perception of other people's distress.

The National Association of the Red Cross was founded in Finland in May 1877 under the name Association for the Treatment of Wounded and Sick Soldiers.

Over the decades, the organization grew into a significant and trusted helper both domestically and internationally.
