Description
The University of Auvergne and the Blaise Pascal University have become one since January 1, 2017. This decision is the result of reflections undertaken since 2012 on the structuring of the site and aims to make the most of the new framework established by the 2013 law on higher education and research.
Since obtaining the I-SITE label in 2017, the University of Clermont Auvergne has joined forces with other institutions related to higher education and research in the region to come together around a common ambition: the creation of a training and research university with a national and international dimension, strongly connected to its territorial environment and its region. It is in this context that January 1, 2021 saw the birth of the new University Clermont Auvergne - Public Experimental Establishment (EPE).
