PROMPT Kick-off Technical Meeting Day1 of Day2
An internal technical meeting was held at Genova, Italy on the 29th of May 2023 in respect of the PROMPT Kick-off meeting as a project's milestone.
The event of 29th May namely: the internal kick-off meeting was organized by the project coordinator UNIGE in collaboration with partners to hold a technical meeting at Genova before the main kick-off meeting. The meeting was attended by partners only namely: UNIGE, ERI, OEPT, JU-A, WASDI, FIHAC, and PMTEN. The purpose of the event was:
On Monday, 29th of May, after the arrival of all partners in Geneva we had an interesting boat trip at Genoa Harbor. The trip started at 14:00 CET and lasted for about 2 hrs 30 minutes. The trip was led by the project coordinator Prof. Giovanni Besio and the purpose was to show partners the port of Geneva as one of the project’s sites of PROMPT. During the trip, we were accompanied by a tour guide who was giving explanations about the port and its history as we sailed along the sea.
Upon completion of the boat trip, the team went straight to the venue for the technical meeting. The meeting was composed of only partners and it was led by the project coordinator- Prof. Giovanni Besio who gave a presentation about the project. The meeting started around 16:30 CET and lasted for close to 2 hours. The objective of the meeting was to present the concept of the project including all work packages and technical activities to be done within the course of the project. The meeting also gave the opportunity for partners to meet each other and introduce themselves as members of the project consortium. At the end of the meeting a Q&A session was given to ensure interaction between partners and the project coordinator, questions were centered on the work packages including technical activities to be implemented and their duration which were answered by the presenter-project coordinator.
And then 2 hours after the end of the technical meeting, all the partners met at the restaurant venue to have an exciting dinner to further strengthen the partnership, which marked the end of the activities for day 1 kick-off meeting slated on the 29th May 2023.
