On 25 March, 2025 the EUCPT/TAST teams had several important events scheduled:
- Strategic level meeting with the Office of Emergency Planning and An Taoiseach's (Prime Minister’s Office) at Trinity Point, Dublin. The team presented their mission to high-ranking government officials and assessed decision-making processes for requesting international assistance.
- The teams engaged in different tactical level meetings at the National Emergency Coordination Centre (NECC) at Agriculture House, Forestry Management at the Dublin Fire Brigade Training Centre and aerial firefighting coordination with the Irish Air Corps at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel.
The teams met key representatives from various government departments to discuss wildfire response, logistics, international assistance, and coordination matters.
It was again a long day for the participating teams, which didn’t stop just at the different meetings, they also needed to give an update of all meetings to the ERCC and in addition to work on their findings to prepare the report.
