Pieter Wynant is currently the chair of the Councils Civil Protection working party (PROCIV) under the Belgian Presidency. As the deputy head of the international relations department of the Belgian Civil Protection, he has been the Belgian delegate in PROCIV for 8 years and the representative of the Civil Protection in BFAST, the Belgian organisation responsible for providing international assistance.
