Description

This 4th meeting of the consortium partners comes at the mid-term of the NEMAUSUS project. It should allow us to make an update of the different work packages. The following items, among others, will be discussed during this important meeting for the progress of the project:

  • the creation of Communities of Knowledge within the framework of the UCPM Knowledge Network rather than centers of expertise, a notion that is too restrictive according to the latest studies of the governance working group;
  • the definition of the future generic offer of services that could be implemented in the framework of the creation of the communities of Knowledge by focusing on the 5 main communities of beneficiaries (policy makers, practitioners, local communities, research and high education, innovation). The example of the future CK on Forest Fires (extended to wildfires and crop fires) will be the guideline of this work;
  • the legal status of these communities of knowledge and the sustainable economic model that could be implemented;
  • the creation of synergies with other European projects but also with other continents;
  • the planning of future activities, including some pilot activities that could be carried out for the benefit of a Member State.
