DG ECHO is organising a webinar for civil protection grant beneficiaries following its audit information note released in August 2022. The document gives grant beneficiaries an overview of the grant audit process - including the basic elements of the audit cycle, common errors leading to disallowances in the past, etc. - so that they can better address the audit process and auditors’ expectations. Following the auditors’ advice may serve to avoid recoveries years after a project closes.
In order to present the note on “Audit Information to the EU Civil Protection Grant Beneficiaries” and to clarify possible doubts around its interpretation, DG ECHO is organising a webinar on 21 October, from 10:00 to 11:30 Brussels time, via Webex. Beneficiaries of Prevention and preparedness projects, Network Partnership projects and Exercises financed under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism have been invited to attend. The connection details will be sent to the appointed participants.
