The second edition of the Climateurope2 virtual festival will focus on the necessary transformations for a more sustainable and resilient Europe in the form of climate services and dedicated solutions. This two-day event will engage participants in different forms of content delivery: high-level panels and thematic dialogues will take place alongside other innovative formats, to raise awareness and promote a wider adoption of climate services.

Key challenges for regional governments in the EU Mission Adaptation to climate change will be the focus of the first day of the event. In thematic break-out groups participants will engage in discussions on the subject matter and particularly on the Mission Adaptation and its relevance to regional and local authorities. In order to promote the uptake of these services, the standardisation of climate services in finance as well as in renewable energy sectors will be the focus of the second day.
