This 1-hour event organized by DRMKC (Disaster Risk Management Knowledge Centre) will be focused on building the evidence base to inform future action on disaster risks. Together with amazing guest panellists from the Joint Research Centre, the European Central Bank, ESPON ,TECNALIA, UN OCHA and DG ECHO, we will discuss:
- Vulnerability assessment for a better understanding of disaster losses and impacts
- How to embed climate change risks and impacts in financial risk analysis
- The links between climate change monitoring systems and humanitarian action
