The FIEP Webinar will focus on electrical fire safety and looks into prevention of fires from electrical source including inspections. In addition, FIEP will explore fire safety of cables and how performance evaluation and regulation can contribute to fire safety.  

Fire Information Exchange Platform (FIEP) was established by the European Commission in 2017 with an aim of facilitating exchange of information, experience and best practices among Member States and stakeholders regarding domestic fire safety. This broad area of common interest is approached through five themes: experience from fire accidents, regulatory challenges of new technologies, fire prevention, fire safety engineering and harmonization of fire safety data and statistics.
