A new competition by FIRE RES is opening, aiming to find innovative solutions to combating extreme wildfire events in Europe. The FIRE-RES Open Innovation Challenge (OIC) targets stakeholders involved in the wildfire preparedness and response in Europe. Experts, researchers, technologists, entrepreneurs, and innovators are welcome to apply.

This first webinar aims to provide interested participants with an overview of the Open Innovation Challenge, with insight on the application process, grants and benefits of taking part in the challenge. Seven topics have been identified as part of the challenge:
