Description
The FirEUrisk project aims at improving wildfire management by integrating society, economy and policies. In a series of webinars information about the structure of wildfire management organisations in different EU countries shall now be disseminated to connect the project to to the wider operational community across Europe.
The next webinar on 8 May 2023 will provide an overview of the wildfire management system in Greece. Key operational organizations will present themselves. Representatives from the Forest Service of the Ministry of Environment, the Hellenic Fire Service, the General Secretariat of Civil Protection, and the Regional Administration Authorities will be in attendance to share information about their roles in forest fire management.
