Description
FORMATEX23 (Full Operational Response to Major Accidents triggered by Natural Hazards – full scale EXercise 2023) is a Union Civil Protection Mechanism funded project with the final goal of conducting a full-scale exercise focused on a chemical spill triggered by flooding events.
The exercise involves national and regional emergency response organisations and structures as well as specific emergency response elements to improve and strengthen cooperation among European members in the context of major accidents triggered by natural hazards.
To best plan the exercise, the FORMATEX23 consortium is hosting a Main Planning Conference in Linz on 18-20 January. All participating modules are invited to join the discussions and conduct an exercise grounds site visit.
