Description
This year’s Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction is themed "On the Edge? Disaster Risk Reduction in Fragile Times" and will take place in a hybrid format on 22-23 April 2024 in Berlin.
The German Red Cross, together with the Federal Foreign Office, has hosted the past editions of the German Conferences on Disaster Risk Reduction, which aim to include and increase the dialogue on topics and challenges to involve the different international and national disaster risk reduction factors and experts, creating synergies and exchanges on national disaster risk reduction and international humanitarian disaster risk reduction.
The conference will delve into some of the most relevant topics and developments on disaster risk reduction and response, and global issues such as climate change, health crises, and societal and geopolitical tensions.
