Description
The Innovative Technologies and Equipment for Search and Rescue Operations project will conclude with a final workshop and conference stretched over two days. Both events are open to all and free of charge.
8 May (2pm - 5pm) - Standardisation for SAR Operations Workshop
This workshop concerns itself with the importance of standardisation in SAR operations, focusing on three main areas: the requirements for acquiring digital information from victims, a guideline for the application of a test method for innovative technologies to detect victims in debris, and specifications for digital scenarios for SAR exercises.
9 May (9am - 3.30pm) - Final Conference
During the project's final conference innovative technologies and equipment will be presented that aim to enhance first responders' capabilities and safety during SAR operations.
