This EEA/Norway Grants conference is co-organised by the governments of Poland, Norway, Lichtenstein and Iceland. The conference will address current challenges and innovative risk management solutions in the field of disaster prevention and preparedness.

The first day will focus on the Sendai Framework and synergies with the EU Civil Protection Mechanism. This is followed by developments in the field of geospatial data management on day two and finally discussions on opportunities in the previously mentioned fields, for example, on building resilient societies and improving risk communication during the last day of the conference. Lastly, the conference will present how EEA/Norway Grants may be used to strengthen cooperation in disaster prevention and preparedness in the future.

Registration for online participation is open until 05.05.2023. In-person participation is possible by invitation only.
