The event on New Technologies in Disaster Risk Reduction will explore existing and potential solutions for reducing fragility and enhancing resilience through the use of advanced technologies and digital innovation. Disaster risk reduction in the context of fragility and climate security is a topic of the current Czech EU Presidency.
The High-level event on New Technologies in Disaster Risk Reduction is, co-organised by the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), the European Union and the Czech Republic.
The event is part of Czechia4Climate campaign, aimed at raising awareness of climate related challenges as well as potential solutions.
