Description
The RED ROSES Final Conference marks a key milestone in the journey to strengthen disaster risk prevention and preparedness in cross-border regions. This event will showcase the achievements of the RED ROSES project, launched in March 2023 and coordinated by the French Red Cross, in collaboration with key partners such as the French Geological Survey (BRGM), Paris Dauphine University, the Italian National Research Council (CNR), and the Italian Red Cross. Co-funded by the European Commission (DG ECHO), the project addresses the growing risks of natural disasters like floods, landslides, and wildfires along the French-Italian border.
What to expect

Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on lessons learned and explore the tools and methodologies developed to enhance cross-border cooperation among civil protection actors. The conference will highlight key results, sustainable approaches for the future, and transnational collaboration as a critical element for disaster risk reduction.
