Description
The Horizon Europe project TEMA (Trusted Extremely Precise Mapping and Prediction for Emergency Management) invites emergency management and civil protection practitioners across Europe to participate in the TEMA Open Demo Days, taking place from 25 May to 07 June 2026.
The initiative provides participants with the opportunity to access and test the TEMA platform through a web-based smart desk environment using realistic operational scenarios focused on wildfires.
TEMA is developing an integrated decision-support platform combining artificial intelligence, predictive modelling, geospatial intelligence and advanced data analysis to support emergency preparedness, crisis coordination and operational response.
During the Open Demo Days, participants will be able to explore functionalities related to:
- situational awareness and monitoring
- predictive mapping and forecasting
- operational coordination
- decision-support workflows
- integrated crisis data visualisation
The activity is designed to support operational validation and future adoption of the platform by enabling practitioners to assess its relevance, usability and added value in real-world emergency management contexts. Feedback collected during the Open Demo Days will contribute to ongoing platform refinement and exploitation activities.
Participation is open to:
- civil protection authorities
- fire and rescue services
- emergency medical services
- law enforcement agencies
- public authorities
- emergency management researchers and innovators
An open kick-off webinar will take place on Friday 22 May 2026 at 11:00 CET at TEMA's LinkedIn page. The webinar will introduce the TEMA platform, explain participation procedures and present the operational scenarios and functionalities available during the Open Demo Days.
Participants will be able to access the platform remotely and test scenarios at their own pace throughout the two-week period.
