The Webinar hosted by the FirEUrisk consortium: 'How will climate and land-use change affect Europe’s near-future wildfire risk? is taking place on 27 March, 2025.

This webinar focuses on projections of future fire regimes and vegetation changes under combined climate and land-use scenarios. The presentations will cover possible impacts of fuel management decisions to reduce fire risk that are effective and robust under future climate change. How these opportunities relate to current policy frameworks in the EU and motivate future policy development and management plans will be presented.
