COVALEX is pleased to announce our third webinar, "Impact-Based Forecasting in Humanitarian Operations," which will take place on November 23rd at 11:00 CEST.
This new event, developed by CIMA Foundation and the Italian Red Cross, will focus on sharing the good practices in developing an Impact-Based Forecast (IBF) system under the EU-funded Programme PPRD EAST 3, aimed at introducing Early Warning to Early Action strategies into humanitarian interventions.
The webinar will feature three main sections:
1) Establishment of the Impact-Based Forecast System
2) PhD presentation "Utilizing Open Data for IBF and Global Risk Assessment"
3) Practical Application of IBF in Anticipatory Actions
There will also be time for an open round table discussion. The event will last approximately one hour.
