Description

More than 240 lives were lost in the devastating July 2021 floods in Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The UNU Climate Resilience Initiative, which was launched in response to the floods and in recognition of the cross-border impacts of climate change, has identified five key areas in which further action and research is needed.
