Dealing with emergencies to secure and safeguard cultural heritage requires the use of rapidly deployable cognitive tools to gather information and data useful for assessing the consistency and quality of damaged assets. This is in order to undertake measures to reduce the risk of loss of cultural value, following disasters, through an appropriate, rapid and sustainable response methodology as well as to efficiently document damages, have comparable data and make risk-informed decisions for recovery.

Here an application developed within the PROCULTHER-NET project to enable the collection of cultural heritage damage and risk data following the occurrence of emergency events is presented.

The app represents the implementation of paper forms for the templates - contained in the document “Key Elements of a European Methodology to Address the Protection of Cultural Heritage during Emergencies” - for the collection of cultural heritage data following emergencies elaborated within the same project jointly with the partners.
