This research evaluates how emerging technologies can enhance disaster risk awareness and resilience among vulnerable populations. Using surveys, end-user evaluations and co-creative workshops, the study assessed tools such as Mobile Positioning Data for rescue planning and Trasim for crisis communication training. Findings highlight strong innovation potential but also ethical concerns, digital divides, and inclusivity challenges. Investing in fair and responsible technological development is key to ensuring no one is left behind in future crises.
