The Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre aims to consolidate its understanding of social protection, articulate its vision for this sector, showcase examples of ongoing work, and emphasize the unique value it brings to partnerships. Through this position paper, the Climate Centre establishes social protection as a thematic priority across climate change, disaster risk management, humanitarian, development, and other relevant sectors.
