Abstract

Virtual reality has the potential to be a valuable tool for cultural heritage protection in emergencies. This PROCULTHER-NET project, funded by the UCPM, developed a feasibility study to gain a multidisciplinary perspective on the possibilities that reality technologies can have in supporting the inclusion of cultural heritage protection in the disaster risk management sector.

This article provides elements for bridging the gap that currently exists in virtual capacity building processes where cultural heritage protection is not yet completely addressed. KEYWORDS: virtual reality, cultural heritage. In PROCULTHER-NET 2 Project. Technical Bulletin N. 3, July 2024, pp 83-89.
