- Summary
The threats Poland faces have substantially grown in the last few years. Disinformation, cyberattacks, hybrid threats, hostile disruption and sabotage are used to destabilize the country. The war beyond our eastern border impacts our sense of safety as well.
The risk of extreme weather events is also higher. Their effects can cause electricity cuts, difficulties in transportation and communication, destruction of property, hindrances to businesses and threats to
well‑being and life. Many of these events are unavoidable, but they can be prepared for.The Polish Government has noted the severity of these challenges, and prepared this „Safety Handbook”.
