This review aims to provide an overview of key EU initiatives that have contributed to four priorities and three (out of seven) targets of the Sendai Framework. It focuses on the qualitative
targets that do not rely on data that would need to be provided by Member States. A further objective of the document is to reiterate the EU's commitment to achieving the goals and targets of the framework by 2030.
