Talking about recovery phase after a disaster, the Italian Ministry of Culture makes the case for sorting the rubble of immovable cultural heritage, based on the experience of the 2016 earthquake and its devastating impact on the Basilica of Norcia.

This patient and meticulous approach is a cornerstone to ensure reconstruction and to preserve the historical and cultural fabric of a site affected by a disaster.
