Summary

This bachelor’s thesis experimentally assesses the effectiveness of mass decontamination using water alone and evaluates whether an animated cleaning instruction improves decontamination outcomes. Using a fluorescent reference substance and UV analysis, the study demonstrates that mass decontamination significantly reduces contamination levels, while the tested shower instruction showed no additional effect. The findings support mass decontamination as an effective measure for hydrophilic hazardous substances and identify areas for further research.
