Event Overview and Objectives

Entering its closing phase, the AHEAD project convenes partners, researchers, and civil protection practitioners to present the final outcomes of its European-level cooperation. Supported by EU funding under DG ECHO, the project has focused on developing an engineered Information System (IS) dedicated to standardising and enhancing the collection and analysis of post-disaster damage and loss data across Europe.

Key Highlights of the Workshop

The two-day closing event will provide an operational and scientific exchange, featuring:

  • The AHEAD Information System: Illustration of the data platform designed to support evidence-based disaster risk management.
  • National Testbeds and Practical Insights: Presentation of key finding and insights across the participating pilot regions.
