Call for session proposals – European Civil Protection Forum 2026

By Knowledge Network – Staff memberPublished on

The 9th European Civil Protection Forum will take place on 3–4 November 2026 in Brussels (Tour & Taxis), bringing together stakeholders from across the disaster risk management community to shape the future of preparedness in Europe. The call for session proposals for the upcoming edition is now open!

As preparations for the Forum advance, contributions from the community are essential to building a strong and relevant agenda. Stakeholders are invited to submit proposals for sessions they would like to organise as part of the programme.

The Forum will focus on how preparedness can be strengthened in an increasingly complex risk landscape, in line with the shift towards a more anticipatory, integrated and resilience-based approach promoted by the Preparedness Union Strategy.

Deadline for submission: 3 April 2026
Submit your proposal via the online form
For questions, please contact: ECHO-CP-Forum@ec.europa.eu.

Stakeholders interested in contributing to the programme are encouraged to consult the full concept note for this edition of the Forum, as well as the final report of the previous edition, to build on past discussions and bring forward new ideas.
