
Civil Protection Response to war in Ukraine
ERCC publishes a map illustrating the Civil Protection response to Russia’s war on Ukraine through the UCPM.
A map recently published by the Emergency Response Coordination Centre (ERCC) depicts the state of the Civil Protection response to the war in Ukraine from 15 February to 8 November 2022. The daily map relies on data provided by DG ECHO, DG HOME, GISCO, and UNHCR.
Approximately 73 400 tonnes of assistance have been facilitated by UCPM logistic hubs and directed to Ukraine. Likewise, 453 million EUR of financial assistance were donated through the Mechanism.
All Member States and 4 Participating States provided assistance to Ukraine. One can observe which countries requested international assistance as a consequence of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The map further indicates the nature of the items offered by which Member or Participating States. Ukraine is the country that required international assistance the greatest number of times (111) since the establishment of the UCPM.
