Dissemination event - areas of Staševina, Kličevo and Ozrinići (Montenegro)

The SAFE LAND project was presented to the local population in the area(s) with high risk of the flooding in the Municipality of Nikšić, which were threatened during the floods in 2010 and in 2012. On this occasion, together with the locals, there was an organised study visit to the flooded areas.

Locals were informed about the importance of the project, which can help local communities to increase disaster resilience, to protect, adapt and recover from floods in a timely and efficient manner. In addition, special attention was paid to vulnerable groups of people (persons with disabilities, elderly..) in case of flood and landslide.
