The final phase of the DRAW DATA project was marked by two key events – a Round Table on disaster loss data collection and the project’s Final Conference – both highlighting the project’s strong impact and relevance.

The Round Table, focused on strengthening disaster loss data systems, brought together national and international experts and institutions. Discussions clearly emphasised the importance of reliable, standardised data for effective disaster risk reduction, confirming the project’s role in addressing existing gaps and improving decision-making processes.

This message was further reinforced during the Final Conference, where the results of two years of work were presented. The event showcased the project’s achievements, including tested methodologies, developed awareness materials and insights from pilot areas across Croatia. The discussions highlighted not only the importance of the project, but also that it has exceeded its initially planned results, with very positive feedback from stakeholders and participants.

Overall, the response to the project outputs has been highly encouraging, underlining their practical value and relevance for strengthening disaster resilience. Building on this success, the project team hopes that the implementation of the developed tools, systems and guidelines will be both fast and smooth, ensuring long-term benefits for disaster risk management and public awareness.
