EU MODEX Austria - Exercise Planning Meeting
From 23 to 26 October 2023, the final Lot 3 of EU MODEX or Cycle 11 will take place in Wiener Neustadt, which has now been further planned in a meeting on site from 4 to 6 September 2023.

From 23 to 26 October 2023, the last Lot 3 of EU MODEX or Cycle 11 will take place in Wiener Neustadt.
At the best of times, key staff, trainers and subject matter experts from the consortium have been on site to further explore the sites and finalise the exercise planning.
MUSAR (Medium Urban Search and Rescue modules) teams from France, Poland and Romania, as well as an RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) capacity from France, will exercise an earthquake scenario.
We are looking forward to finally organising the exercise with an experienced local consortium partner, after the exercise had to be moved and postponed several times. Venue management will be taken over by the Austrian Red Cross, which has done an excellent job in the short term planning so far.
