Europe | Temperature and precipitation anomalies forecast

For each month—August, September, and October—there are two maps provided: one depicting the forecasted average temperature anomalies in degrees Celsius (°C), and the other illustrating the predicted average precipitation anomalies in millimetres (mm). These maps enable a comparative analysis of how both variables evolved over the three-month period.

Additionally, the map includes a related graphic showing the cumulative burnt areas (exceeding 30 hectares) and the number of wildfires in Europe from 2006 to 7 August 2024, offering further context to the observed anomalies.
