🌍 On Friday, 13 June, EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme had the honour of welcoming Andrius Kubilius, European Union Commissioner for Defence and Space (DG-DEFIS).
During this important visit, some representatives of the OVERWATCH project were present. Our partner Hololight, with remote support from Engineering Group, presented the innovative technology developed within the OVERWATCHproject.
Commissioner Kubilius had the opportunity to wear the XR headset and experience first-hand how the system visualises Sentinel-1 data and the mapped lood in Poland, streamed seamlessly from the ENGINEERING server directly to his eyes at EUSPA HQ in Prague.
👏 A special thanks to PO Vasilis Kalogirou, to the OVERWATCH project team, and in particular HOLOLIGHT and ENGINEERING, for making this impressive demonstration possible!
