New EU Academy eLearning on AI in Disaster Risk Management
A new eLearning course, "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence in Disaster Risk Management (DRM)" is now available on the EU Academy platform.
Artificial Intelligence has the capability of transforming how civil protection and disaster risk management actors work on a day-to-day basis. This course provides a introduction to how AI technologies can support disaster risk management across the DRM cycle from risk analysis and preparedness to response and recovery and enable participants to start thinking about how to better and ethically integrate AI into their policy, planning and operations.
Trough practical examples and case studies, participants will gain a better understanding of how AI tools are already being applied in real-world disaster management contexts. Access the course on EU Academy here.
